Key interests in Poverty alleviation and Human development especially in developing nations particularly in Africa. An advocate of good governance particularly in developing nations.

A former Naval officer and a commercial ship captain who holds an M.sc in Maritime studies (UWIST), PG Dip. Business Information systems (Humberside Business school), Member Royal Institute of Navigation, CPC National & International. Formerly work as System Analyst at the former Abbey National bank now Santander. Founder High-Value Logistics Ltd., Co-Founder JJ Star Services Ltd., and has held management positions in logistics and distribution companies. An advocate of good governance and Justice, an ardent fundraiser for good causes with a special interest in child development and education.

Senior Lecturer in politics and international relations at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. He formerly taught at the University of Kent, UK, where he received his PhD, and Baze University, Abuja, Nigeria. He also obtained an MPhil in West African Politics from the University of Birmingham, UK; an MSc in Research Methods in the Social Sciences from London South Bank University, UK; and a BSc in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Nigeria. Dele’s research interests include federalism, elections, political economy, ethnicity, and conflict in Africa. He is the author of The Political Economy of Federalism in Nigeria (Palgrave, 2019).
